Richard Dewar

Richard was born in Norwich, UK in 1948. He studied pottery at Bath Academy and Harrow School of Art and set up his first studio in Gloucestershire, England in 1972. In 1979, he moved to France and established his home and workshop in a stone built farm house in the south of Brittany. In his work, he tries to combine form, texture, natural colour and the right amount of humour. In doing this, he has been invited many times to work and exhibit in the UK and Europe. |
